Now conducting telepractice services for all ages.
Telepractice is the use of telecommunications technology to deliver speech therapy services to a client who is in a different physical location than the therapist. This method is approved by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
PPT therapists have years of experience (even pre-dating the pandemic) providing dynamic virtual speech and language sessions. All PPT SLPs are licensed in the state of Virginia and can provide virtual therapy sessions to any child within state lines.
Evaluations completed via tele-practice utilize standardized testing through Q-global®, which is Pearson's web-based system for administering, scoring and reporting Pearson assessments.
